She  feared for herself & her son,

 but lived as best as a bear can .

Arcas grew up motherless ,which is hard for a young man.

 

Ursa Major,Ursa Minor ,these stars to guide us in the night .But for a while , the troubled pair thought their path held no light .

 

One day in the forest, Callisto saw her grown up son , she wished to embrace him and began to run .

 

Arcas saw the bear and was scared , but didn’t fly away like a sparrow he was a brave bear at heart , and began to draw his arrow .

 

Lord Zeus saw them there , and took pity on them from afar .

Before poor Callisto was killed ,he placed them among the stars .

 

Ursa Major , Ursa Minor ,These stars guide us in the night , they are mother and son,United . There love is what created the light .
